‘a while ago my friend was cutting my hair and he told me that I should grow my beard, so I did’
‘when I was much younger, I thought that one of the defining differences between a man and a boy was that a man had to shave everyday. then I grew up and shaved everyday and still felt like a boy, and still felt judged like a boy.
I knew I wasn’t a boy anymore, that I wasn’t the person that people saw when first introduced to me and that I needed to show a little bit more of a personal identity.
so the idea of a beard came into my head. my confidence grew and people showed more interest, particularly women. and I know that it resembles several of my favorite authors, historical figures and musicians’.
he was beard number 113, but he didn’t like the first picture, so I took another one.
(I hope he likes it this time and stops bothering me)
